HKLIVING Ceramics

Over time, our ceramics have become less about individual series and more about the collection they form together. Layered, slightly contradictory and always open to another addition. It felt only natural that the packaging should catch up.

Teun Zwets for HKLIVING

Teun Zwets doesn’t design politely — and that’s exactly why we wanted to work with him. His approach is unfiltered: loud colours, unapologetic gloss, rough materials that look like they’ve been dragged straight out of the workshop. There’s no ego in the work, but there is attitude.

Collection additions 2026

Inspired by Van Gogh

Alongside the collection, three works by Vincent van Gogh inspired a new chapter within the iconic 70s Ceramics collection. Translated into contemporary glazes, textures and shapes, the pieces form a quiet dialogue between art history and modern craft.

Nienke Sikkema for HKLIVING

Creative collaboration sits at the heart of Additions 2026. For this collection, we worked closely with glass artist Nienke Sikkema, inviting her distinct perspectives into the design process, not as an addition but as a driving force in shaping the collection’s direction.
